Softball
This week we are proud to recognize Grants Pass High School Sophomore, Haley Jantzer.
Haley Jantzer lettered as a freshman for the Grants Pass Lady Caver Softball team. Now a sophomore, Haley is playing softball year round for the traveling Southern Oregon Blackout team, continuing to patrol center field. Her team won the Championship at the recent Finish the Fight Tournament in Medford and is heading to Las Vegas to play in the West Coast World Series November 8th through the 11th. She is the team's captain and lead-off hitter with a .448 batting average. She credits several of her coaches for helping her attain an admirable level of skill in only three years of softball. Long terms plans remain flexible for Haley but currently her desire is to enter the nursing profession.
