My name is Kerry Ryan Alderson. I was born and raised in Grants Pass. I graduated from GPHS where I played football and basketball. I attended Southern Oregon University where earned my Bachelors in Communication and later earned my Masters in teaching. I worked for KLDR in the early 2000‘s before entering into public education and coaching. The last eight years I’ve worked as a full-time pastor at Edgewater Christian Fellowship.

I’ve been happily married to my beautiful wife Selena for 19 years. She is a school counselor at North Middle. We have an 18-year-old son (Keinan) who is a senior at GPHS. He plays football and basketball. He’s number 2!

We also have a 15-year-old sophomore son named Owen who plays basketball and the drums. Our daughter Avery is 12 and in seventh grade at North. She plays basketball, swims, and does track. We love to adventure outdoors and travel! We have served on missions trips to Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Houston.

Since my wife is from a beach town in LA we love to go to LA and spend time on the beach and surfing. Disneyland isn’t bad either.
