The Josephine County Board of Commissioners is looking at moving their one Wednesday Business Session held in the evening from the third Wednesday each month to the second of the month this fall.

The board would have to draft a new ordinance to make the change. The board is considering moving the starting time of the evening meeting at Ann Basker Auditorium to 5:30 p.m.

The board will check conflicts in its contract with Rogue Valley Television, which broadcasts and records the meetings.

Currently, the evening meeting on the third Wednesday conflicts with Grants Pass City Council meetings that begin at 6 p.m. The city council doesn’t meet on the second Wednesday of the month, however.
