If you’ve been looking for ways to get involved in your community, Josephine County is looking for citizens to serve on advisory committees.

The Local Alcohol and Drug Planning committee is seeking members with an emphasis on applicants representing the recovery community, local business, cultural and faith community.

Members will be responsible for developing and recommending an implementation plan for alcohol and drug prevention, intervention and treatment services; plus recommending allocation of state and federal resources and monitoring services.

The Commission for Children and Families is also recruiting applicants representing Educational Service Districts, local business, youth 15 to 18 years of age and parents with children.

This commission is responsible for developing a coordinated comprehensive play for children and families, plus advocating and mobilizing communities to improve family well being.
