Caveman Rollover Alcohol Related
A rollover on Caveman Bridge at 1:15 this afternoon snarled traffic and sent the 59 year old driver to the Hospital for evaluation.
Authorities determined the driver, Harper McKee, of Selma, had driven the Ford Explorer onto the sidewalk on the west side of Caveman Bridge, then continued up the first arch, flipping the vehicle onto the passenger side, blocking both lanes of traffic.

Rollover accident snarls South Grants Pass traffic
Caveman Bridge has been reopened after a rollover accident at 1:30 p.m.
An unidentified male motorist, described as being older, drove onto the curb on the right side of the Caveman Bridge, drove up the arch on the right side and rolled over.
The vehicle landed on its passenger side, closing the bridge from that point forward until about 2:20 p.m.
The driver, who was alone, had to be extricated from the vehicle. He was conscious, according to Steve Scruggs from American Medical Response, and was transported to Three Rivers Community Hospital for evaluation.
The southbound Caveman Bridge was closed while it is being cleared off.
All routes to the Parkway Bridge, including M Street, were congested.
Commissioners accept first Southside Road warranty deed
The Josephine County Commissioners accepted the Warranty Deed from Dineke Anderson, one of the four property-owners on each corner of a bridge over the Applegate River on Southside Road it plans to repair, this morning.
The county will have similar deeds from two property-owners soon. A fourth is still in negotiations with the county.
House District 55 candidates on Wednesday talk show
The two candidates for House of Representative Seat 55 will be Scott Jorgensen’s guests for the KAJO Wednesday Talk Show tomorrow.
House District 55 includes northern Jackson County, all of Lake and Crook counties, and parts of Klamath and Deschutes counties.
The first half of the program features Mike McLane, an attorney from Powell Butte in Crook County, while Prineville Mayor Mike Wendel is featured in the second half-hour.

Eagle Point School District release business manager
The Eagle Point School Board voted not to renew business manager Randy Struckmeier’s contract at an open meeting yesterday.
The meeting followed a closed executive session, which are permitted for discussions about personnel actions.

Sunday a 16 year old girl ran away from the Lithia Springs Girls Home on Siskiyou Boulevard in Ashland.

The Oregon Liquor Control Commission met today and issued 9 sanctions statewide including one in Southern Oregon.
Brammo Takes Electric Motorcycles to Hong Kong; Singapore
Brammo Incorporated of Ashland announced today it will begin selling the Inertia motorcycle in Hong Kong and Singapore later this year.
Brammo partnered with a Hong Kong-based electric vehicle company co-founded by actor Jackie Chan. Chan may help promote the motorcycle.
